The glass party had its first win in Telangana municipal polls as the counting progresses. Jana Sena had its first win in combined Nalgonda.
Jana Sena’s candidate Aruri Vijayalakshmi won with a majority of 60 seats from 14th ward in Nereducharla municipality.
Jana Sena Telangana worked incessantly to ensure the party makes a mark in the elections. While it’s party chief Pawan Kalyan was supposed to campaign for both Jana Sena and BJP, he cancelled the tour in the last minute.
There is an ongoing debate that Jana Sena is primarily an Andhra party and that they have no place in Telangana politics. On the other hand, the Jana Sainiks argue that Jana Sena was born in Telangana and no one can deny it.
However, Telangana Jana Sena has been quite active before the polls and they are working hard to leave a mark in Telangana local politics.
Following their ‘boni’, the Jana Sena leaders are hoping for more wins for the party by the time counting concludes.
