The other day, in his interaction with farmers in Amaravati, Pawan Kalyan had opined that the state government should take experts like Jaya Prakash Narayan in to confidence for deciding on the land acquisition process.

With Pawan Kalyan giving due respect to JP, the Lok Satta President’s view on Land Acquisition assumes significance. “Land Acquisition is necessary for the development of the state. But land needs should be kept to minimum. Governments should pay farmers according to the law. But saying stopping land acquisition is dangerous”, JP said to media in Rajahmundry.
JP also appreciated the land pooling concept which is currently employed in Capital villages of Andhra Pradesh. With JP airing his views in the favour of the state government, we will have to see if Pawan Kalyan rethinks on his stand on this issue.
