Former YCP minister Jogi Ramesh has found himself in legal trouble over the alleged illegal possession of Agrigold land. He may get arrested very soon, according to the reports.
Ramesh and his family are accused of illegally buying and selling Agrigold lands that were seized by the CID.
The CID has conducted a thorough investigation into the case and has submitted a detailed report to the DGP of Andhra Pradesh. As a result, it is clear that his arrest by the authorities is imminent.
In response, Jogi Ramesh has denied the allegations against him and his family. He questioned how Agrigold lands seized by the CID could be sold.
Earlier today, Jogi Ramesh attended the YSR birth anniversary event at YCP headquarters. Speaking to the media at the event, he responded to the allegations.
He stated that seized land cannot be sold through its survey number and that the lands he purchased were registered after publishing a notice through a newspaper and by conducting a survey.
Ramesh alleged that the government is planning to arrest him on false charges. He accused Lokesh of trying to get him arrested at any cost using the red book.
He also made a reckless statement, saying that the most the government could do was arrest him and imprison him for 2-3 months.
It looks like Jogi Ramesh is already mentally prepared for going jail.
