We are nearing a fortnight of the launch of Hyderabad Metro Rail Services, the crowds are still on with people trying a new service and are indulging in joyrides. As a result, the real commuters are struggling even to stand in the trains.

Those trying to have the joyrides are also not enjoying the congested experience but are still eager to try. Even though, the crowds continue to swell, L&T is still not keen on operating more trains. A three-coach Metro train can carry 965 passengers but the actual number is several times more.
The trains are being operated at an interval of 15 minutes from 6 am to 10 pm. The total commuters number is likely to cross 20 Lakh in the first two weeks of its launch. This is a big record by any stretch in any city which has Metro Services previously.
