Kalvakuntla Kavitha has become the centre of political discussion after being suspended from the BRS Party. She is now working independently, and it seems only a matter of time before she launches her own political outfit.
Recently, Kavitha visited Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and spoke to the media afterward. She said she dislikes the abusive tone of Andhra Pradesh politics, where leaders personally attack each other and make wild, hurtful remarks instead of focusing on issues.
She also praised Chandrababu Naidu, recalling how he once resolved a BC Minority issue through a single phone call. Her remarks went viral, sparking reactions across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Many people from Andhra criticised her for commenting on their politics, telling her to focus on Telangana. Some even reminded her of her own claims that her brother used BRS social media teams to target her online.
Meanwhile, BRS supporters are angry about her praise for Chandrababu Naidu. However, nothing Kavitha said about Andhra politics is untrue. The state has seen extreme political hostility, especially between 2019 and 2024, with leaders even targeting opponents’ families.
Chandrababu Naidu himself, despite being a senior leader, was not spared from personal attacks. Things have started improving since the government changed, as voters rejected many of the loudest voices.
People must learn to accept valid points, even if they come from political rivals. Kavitha’s remarks about Andhra politics were fair and factual. Still, once she returns to Telangana, she will likely resume her usual political stance, as BRS politics often thrive on opposing Chandrababu Naidu.
