CM buys a waterproof Saree worth a Lakh for wife!

The chief minister of Karnataka was invited to inaugurate the Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation (KSIC) showroom in Davanagere. But interestingly, while there CM Siddaramaiah himself liked the collection so much that he bought a saree as a gift for his wife.

The saree is a special one that comes from a collection titled Threads of Gold. This saree which is orange and gold in colour is also waterproof in nature which the Chief Minister tested by pouring a litre of water over it. After satisfying his curiosity, the CM bought the clothing for his wife at a price of Rs.1,09,385.

Sources tells media that following this incident, many other people are also making enquiries about sarees from the same collection.
