Telangana Jagruthi president Kavitha has already begun preparations for the upcoming ZPTC elections, even though official notifications are yet to be released. Her early moves indicate a serious push on the ground.
Kavitha has been holding discussions with potential candidates at her residence since Monday. According to party circles, around 20 to 30 Jagruthi leaders are expected to contest the Nizamabad ZPTC elections. Plans are underway to announce candidates even before the official notification.
Sources close to her suggest that Kavitha is likely to adopt the lion as her party symbol. The Jagruthi cadre is actively promoting the lion symbol on behalf of the party, signalling an early branding exercise.
It is also significant that Kavitha will be contesting from her home turf for the first time. Political observers are not surprised by her early preparation, as the election notification could be released at any moment.
Analysts describe Kavitha as aggressive yet cautious in her political entry as the leader of Jagruthi. They point out that her discussions with Prashant Kishor and Robbin Sharrma appear to be moving beyond theory and into implementation.
Despite the challenging political environment in the state, Kavitha is making a determined effort to establish herself as a strong and durable political force. Analysts believe these early steps reflect a calculated attempt to build momentum ahead of the elections.
