Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had mastered the language of agitations and strikes than any other politician in the country. He had effectively used it to carve a new state and as well as to become the first Chief Minister of it. However off late, KCR is getting the taste of his own medicines.

Most of the government employees are of the opinion that this is one good language KCR understands and they are often resorting to strikes for better salaries, facilities and other benefits. And by and large they are successful too. It all started with KCR announcing 43% increase n wages against the recommended 27% hike by the 10th pay revision commission.
From then RTC employees, GHMC Sanitation workers, Telangana State Archaka Sangham and Telangana Panchayat Sarpanches Association have all taken the same route demanding the same abnormal hike from the government. More such strikes are being planned by Government Pensioners Association and others to get better revisions.
