The Ruling party leaders in Telangana are firing salvos at Andhra Pradesh Government alleging that it is resorting to illegal projects on the Krishna River. We have seen Telangana ministers badmouthing Andhra People and even cursing Chief Minister Jagan’s father, the late YSR.
Meanwhile, it is reported that Jagan has offered to sit and talk on the issues with his Telangana Counterpart. But then, CM KCR is not keen on talks. KCR is said to be of the view Jagan betrayed him even as he extended a friendly hand immediately after the latter coming to power.
KCR wants the Andhra Pradesh government to stall all the illegal projects and then ask for talks. It is known to our readers that National Green Tribunal already halted the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project and directed Krishna Board to verify if AP is violating previous orders.
Telangana government also wants AP to scrap the construction of a parallel canal along the Rajoliband Diversion Scheme (RDS) to divert Tungabadhra water from the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district.
