KCR Puts Full Stop To All Rumors

KCR-Telangana-Opposition-Leader

There were doubts that Former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao would not go to the Assembly to avoid humiliation and would contest the Parliament.

Accordingly, there were speculations that KTR would be made as the Opposition leader.

But then, it looks like KCR decided to put a full stop to all those rumors. On the first day of the Assembly, BRS MLAs met and elected KCR unanimously as the Legislative Leader of the BRS Party. He will be the Opposition leader and has to face the Congress Government in the Assembly.

Luckily for BRS, they have good numbers in the Assembly. Congress just had one member in the Upper House.

KCR will look to corner the Government big time. KTR and Harish Rao will also come in handy to him with his knowledge on subject matters.

Meanwhile, KCR is still in Yashoda Hospital after his Hip Replacement Surgery and may need 6-8 weeks of rest.

So, he did not take oath as the MLA today while the remaining MLAs took oath in the Assembly administered by the Pro-tem Speaker Akbaruddin Owaisi.

He will take oath at a later date when the full-time Speaker is elected when he recovers.

Meanwhile, if this means KCR is not going to contest the Parliament elections, BRS will need a different approach for that election having to face it from the Opposition.
