Judicial Inquiry Commission chairman, Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, met irrigation department officials concerning the Kaleshwaram Project today.
He discussed the sinking of pillars and the safety of the project, with the officials. He stated that even the former Chief Minister, KCR, will be questioned on the issue if needed. KCR has been facing allegations of committing a major scam in the Kaleshwaram Project.
Ghose stated that soon, a paper advertisement will be given to collect people’s opinions concerning the irregularities in the Kalesjwaram project.
After examining the people and experts’ opinions, a thorough inquiry will be launched on the issue. He stated that NDSA, Vigilance and CAG reports will also be taken into consideration during the investigation.
Ghose will be soon meeting engineers and NDSA authorities. Their technical inputs will be taken into consideration.
Ghose stated that his team would collect information from each and every person, who is connected with the Kaleshwaram Project. He assured that the investigation would happen without any legal disturbances,
Ghose and his team will soon visit the Medigadda Barrage once again. Later, notices would be served to the construction company and the involved politicians, if needed.
