Telangana cabinet minister Konda Surekha has been making it to the headlines over the last few weeks due to her involvement in multiple controversies.
Initially, she was criticised for her derogatory comments against BRS working president KT Rama Rao, actors Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.

Defamation cases were filed against her and she is expected to be called to the court on October 23 concerning the case filed by KTR.
Recently, a fight broke out between the factions of Konda Surekha and Parakala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy in Warangal. Since then, it has been complained that Surekha has been damaging the harmony among party leaders in the Warangal district. Apparently, they are also upset with Surekha being involved extensively in the appointment of nominated posts.

Alleging the same, the MLAs of Parakala, Bhupalapally, Vardhannapet, Station Ghanpur, Palakurti and Warangal West met the state’s Congress party in charge, Deepadas Munshi last night and TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud this morning.
Reportedly, they have sought the appointment of an AICC General Secretary KC Venu Gopal and are getting ready to go to Delhi tomorrow.

Recently, it was reported that CM Revanth Reddy advised Surekha to avoid controversies that could harm the party’s image. As the issue has now reached Delhi, with a formal complaint being filed against her, all eyes are on the AICC to see what action they will take regarding Surekha’s ongoing controversies.
