Konda Surekha‘s removal from the Telangana Cabinet has triggered an emotional reaction from her daughter, Konda Susmitha Patel, who broke down while speaking to the media.
Susmitha questioned why her mother should face the consequences for comments she herself made against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
“Why should my mother pay the price when I was the one who made those comments?” she asked, saying she should have been held responsible if her remarks were wrong.
Susmitha also defended her mother’s tenure as a minister and claimed there were no corruption allegations against Surekha’s department. She further alleged that Revanth Reddy had developed a personal grudge against their family.
Her emotional comments have added another layer to the Konda-Revanth dispute.
The question now is whether the issue ends with Surekha’s Cabinet exit or leads to another political confrontation.
