BRS working president KTR launched a sharp attack on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, creating a buzz in political circles. His remarks came after BRS chief KCR filed a petition in the Telangana High Court against the Kaleshwaram commission report.
KTR, in a strong statement on X, accused the Congress government of lacking basic knowledge in irrigation projects. He mocked them for failing to dig the SLBC tunnel or build the Sunkisala retaining wall, while still criticizing the Kaleshwaram project.
He demanded answers from the CM about the check dam in Gudibanda big lake, Addakula mandal, Mahbubnagar district, which collapsed within two months of construction. He said the poor-quality work caused huge losses to farmers, including damaged crops, pipelines, and transformers.
Calling the Congress government “useless,” KTR claimed they cannot even lay a brick properly. He added that the CM and his team must rub their noses to the floor and apologise, promising never to comment on the Kaleshwaram project again.
