The former IT minister of Telangana KTR had been facing a series of allegations in the ongoing formula E scam case. In tune with this, he appeared in front of the Nampalli court today for investigation in this case.
KTR arrived at the Nampalli Court to take part in the legal proceedings regarding this case earlier in the morning, and there is a significant legal update now.
The legal cell advocates, along with senior advocates, appeared on KTR’s behalf at the court today and presented their argument.
The Court asked KTR to execute a personal bond, and accordingly, they executed a personal bond for Rs 1 lakh. After assessing the basic details regarding this case, the Nampalli court communicated that the matter is posted to 25 August.
It has been a while since this legal proceedings have started against KTR in connection with the formula E case, but there is no significant development with regard to his actual involvement.
The former IT minister had been repeatedly saying that he is ready to face any kind of investigation and confidently says that he is in the clear.
But this happens to be the first time KTR appeared in front of the court for the investigation after his name came up in the charge sheet recently. There are allegations that KTR had orchestrated this race by sanctioning illegal grants to foreign companies. But this is yet to be established in the court of law though.
