Will Revanth Govt Give Helicopters for Flood Ops?

KTR slams Revanth Reddy over Telangana floods

Opposition leader and BRS working president KTR criticised the Telangana government for its slow response to floods caused by heavy rains. He posted on X that Telangana is drowning, people are in fear, while CM Revanth Reddy is busy campaigning in Bihar.

KTR pointed out that no one knows when elections in Bihar will be held, yet the CM is spending time there. He wrote that instead of focusing on the state’s problems, the Congress government and its ministers continue to follow the High Command’s orders.

He alleged that the Telangana Congress is ignoring six guarantees and 420 promises made to people. KTR said floods have hit hard, farmers lack urea, youth face unemployment, and people are waiting for helicopters to rescue them.

He added that Congress ministers frequently use helicopters for short distances of less than 100 km, more than rides with Uber, Ola, or Rapido. He questioned why the same helicopters are not being sent to save lives during floods in Telangana.

Urging the government to act, KTR asked leaders to hear the farmers’ cries and not just focus on votes. He demanded rescue operations on a war footing. Meanwhile, images of floods from Kamareddy have gone viral on social media.
