Nandamuri Balakrishna operates Basavatarakam cancer hospital in an admirable manner. There are countless occasions of him helping out the poor and needy, as was seen during the course of Unstoppable and several offline stories.
Now, a hardcore Jagan loyalist, Priyadarshini Ram, who once held a top post at Sakshi media has now made an interesting revelation.
“There was this one time when a poor priest came to me, asking for a discount at Basavatarakam hospital. I was not with Sakshi nor did I have political connections. I said to him I’ll try what I can. I then texted Balakrishna garu about the issue and requested his help”.
“I texted him in the afternoon and then I got a call from him at 7 PM. He called me a brother. ‘Ram; this is your hospital. You don’t need to ask me to permit discounts here. It’s a done thing. You should never see this as a help or favour, this is your hospital’ Balayya said out of love” Ram said.
Ram was once an integral part of Jagan’s campaign and it should’ve been easy for Balayya to ignore his reach out for help. But that’s not Balayya. He didn’t see caste equations or party lines and simply stepped up to help out a needy family. This is what sets him a class apart, a netizen commented.
