There is no debating the fact that artificial intelligence is going to be the future of global technology, and it will have a significant role to play in the way the world operates. So it is important to make sure that AI alignment happens at a fundamental level for the common population as well.

In accordance, the government of Andhra Pradesh has started to include AI at the curriculum level and even establishing AI university in Amaravati to enhance exposure. But nevertheless, there are still several doubts and apprehensions about the AI, which are requiring IT Minister Lokesh to be proficient with the same.

Lokesh had earlier clarified about the water consumption aspect of AI when YSRCP built a narrative that the Google AI Centre in Vizag is against the natural course. Clarified that this plant requires 1.5 TMC water while annually hundreds of TMCs water goes to waste through Godavari.

Now when another question popped up, Lokesh was ready with his reaction, and he was fairly straightforward with the same. He made it clear that AI is not a threat but an enabler.

Nara Lokesh communicated that he is using AI even at a political level to summarise the data and prepare his speech accordingly when coming out in the public. He said this is a significant boost to the way political climate operates.

Every time, a question pops up about the uses and possible negative effects of artificial intelligence, Lokesh has an effective reply that’s backed by facts and this shows that he has actual idea about what he’s doing. It is pleasantly refreshing to see AP go from the previous IT minister to the incumbent knowledgable one.
