India-London Flight In a shocking incident, passengers aboard a Qatar Airways flight bound for London via Doha were evacuated at NSC Bose International Airport in Kolkata after a man initiated a bomb scare moments before takeoff. According to airport sources, the disruptive passenger began shouting about the presence of an explosive device on the aircraft.

The incident unfolded at 3:29 am on Tuesday, when the flight, carrying 541 passengers, was preparing for departure. The airline crew promptly alerted the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) of the alarming situation.

As a precautionary measure, all passengers were safely disembarked from the plane while law enforcement authorities, aided by sniffer dogs, meticulously combed through the aircraft during an extensive search operation. Regrettably, no evidence of any bomb or suspicious objects was discovered.

The CISF took the disruptive passenger into custody for questioning. Further investigation revealed that the detained individual was undergoing treatment for a mental illness, as corroborated by medical documents presented by his father, who was summoned to the Airport police station to assist in the inquiries.
