The government of Andhra Pradesh pushed its three capital proposal over the last 5 years but without much avail. This is likely to haunt the YCP government as the general elections are less than two months away.
Cut to now, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has claimed that the YCP government has left its three capitals proposal and has now started the fourth capital proposal. He cited YV Subba Reddy’s recent comment that Hyderabad should be the joint capital of AP till Vizag is developed.
“This YCP government said in the parliament that they will develop three capitals in Andhra Pradesh but they backtracked later and didn’t develop any. And all of a sudden, they have pushed the narrative to have Hyderabad as the fourth capital. This shows the kind of carelessness and lackluster administration of the YCP government. An important topic like the development of the capital is being treated like a joke by this government” Chandrababu said.
The TDP chief said the TDP and JSP alliance is sure to form the government in AP and once this formality is done, the government officers and police officers who flouted their duties to work like YCP agents will be taught a lesson.
