Modi to skip lunch at Amaravati

Modi to skip lunch at AmaravatiPrime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Amaravati on 22nd of this month to lay the foundation stone for the upcoming capital of the state. As per the schedule, Modi will arrive at Uddandarayunipalem at 12.30 pm and leave the place at 1.45pm. He will spend nearly 75 minutes at the venue.

However he is mostly likely to skip the grand lunch to be hosted by the AP government. Modi has been observing fast during Navaratri for the last several years. He even skipped the high profile lunch hosted at the White House by US President Barack Obama during his US visit last year for the same reason.

While AP government is preparing choicest mouth-watering Andhra culinary for the PM and Most Important Persons including Union ministers and foreign delegates, the state machinery was orally told about PM’s fasting. However the state government will be prepared to host the lunch for the PM.
