Most Controversial CM of AP Passed Away!

Nadendla Bhaskara Rao AP CM

Andhra Pradesh politics had witnessed several uncanny chief ministers but none were as controversial as Nadendla Bhaskara Rao. He has a special place in the Andhra Pradesh history books for being the most controversial chief minister.

For a period of 31 days between mid August to mid September back in 1984, Bhaskara Rao backtracked his mentor Sr NTR who provided him with a political platform and became CM of undivided AP. He is one of the shortest serving CMs in AP and also a super controversial one at it.

Getting to the point now, Bhaskara Rao was pronounced dead a few minutes back by a private hospital in Hyderabad, where he was being treated for the last few weeks. He succumbed to the old age medical conditions that had been affecting him for a long time.

Bhaskara Rao’s descendent Nadendla Manohar is the current civil supplies minister of Andhra Pradesh and he will be carrying forward the legacy left by the veteran politician.

Whatever might be his reputation, Bhaskara Rao was a very outspoken individual and had several striking opinions on contemporary politics despite not being active for the last couple of decades.
