Reports are emerging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in his recent Delhi trip had put forth proposals for 2.25 Lakh Crore Package before the Prime Minister. This is in addition to the Special Status. Naidu had given a detailed 12 pages memorandum regarding the seeking package.

According to the reports, the state government estimated that center needs to give 90910 Crores for various promises made in the reorganization Act. Along with that, 12210 Crores were sought for covering the deficit of the first year.
Polavaram Project – 13714 Crores, Roads – 27985 Crores, Railways – 21420 Crores, Airports – 3100 Crores are other proposals with the total coming to 2,25,486 Crore. Niti Aayog will go through the report and finalize the package to the truncated state. The Prime Minister is expected to make an announcement regarding this when he comes to lay the foundation stone for Amaravati.
