Naidu to study more capitals for AmaravatiAndhra Pradesh government is sending four high-level official teams to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan in Eurasia, China and Europe to study the ultra-modern capital cities to incorporate the modern architectural elements of these 21st century cities in Amaravati.

These four teams comprising of senior IAS and IPS officers will start on October 25, exactly three days after the foundation laying ceremony of Amaravati on October 22. Energy Secretary Ajay Jain, APCRDA commissioner Nagulapalli Srikanth, DGP JV Ramudu and senior IPS officer VSK Kaumudi will lead a team each.

These teams are to submit a report of their visit to the General Administration Department and also a copy to the MA & UD Department within one week soon after completion of their visit, specific with well-defined outputs for the visit that could be adopted for AP. Basing on their findings, the Capital Master Plan will get final touches.
