TDP Supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had given strict instructions to the cadre and leaders not to install his statues or build temples for him. There is a growing demand for Naidu’s statues after the capital announcement as many people in the capital region wants to put up his statues as a gratitude for selecting the region as Capital.

However Naidu clearly said that he will not tolerate such worship and advised them against those. There are media reports about the statues and temples for the last few days. Naidu’s supporters were surprised on the leader’s silence on the issue and finally he responded.
This tenure will be really monumental for Chandrababu. He has the daunting tasks of the capital construction and Polavaram in his priority list. If he manage to complete them, he will for sure get a place in the history books of the state.
