Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s home constituency,Kuppam managed to beat even Hyderabad in at least one aspect. Kuppam will be the first in both the Telugu states to have 4G services. Chandrababu will start these services on 24th of this month there. He will be formally launching the newly 4G supporting Mobile Tower in Kuppam that day.
It is not clear if the services will begin that day or at a later date but they say Kuppam will be enjoying the services first in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.Bringing affordable internet to every one is one of the important poll promise of Telugu Desam Party in the last elections.
Reliance had come forward to bring 4G services to AP provided the state grants permission to upgrade the existing 502 towers in the state to offer high-speed internet services. Naidu gave the necessary permissions at one go.
