When did AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM KCR last meet each other and hug each other? It was during the ‘Alai Balai’ event organised by BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya during Dasara season. Before and after that event, the Telugu CM’s didn’t seem to be interested meeting eye to eye even. But here is chance for both the CMs to set aside their political agendas and come forward to share a common stage to honour the talents of Telugu Cinema.
It is a known thing that bifurcation had impact on deciding the Nandi Awards for TFI talents since 2012. Nandi Awards for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 still remain undecided and it is common sense the awards for the above said years would come under undivided Andhra Pradesh’s responsibility. After bifurcation, both the states may move on to have their own State Awards but Nandi Awards for those three years got to be decided.
A huge responsibility lies on the shoulders of the Tollywood biggies to see that these awards bring both the Telugu CMs together as TFI artists bifurcation on basis of region is impossible at least for the years when Telugu regions belonged to undivided AP. Hope Nandi Awards for the missing three years would be decided soon and once again we would be able to see Alai Balai (hugging) of the Telugu CMs as it is essential for the TFI that they are at peace with each other.
