Nara Scion Lokesh who has become the Minister in his father Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet is yet to face a direct Election. Lokesh who did not contest the 2014 election was later elected as an MLC after becoming the Minister in Naidu’s Team.

But then, Chandrababu Naidu wants to field him in the fray for 2019 elections now. There are rumours that Chandrababu may vacate his Bastion Kuppam seat in Chittoor district for Lokesh and contest himself from some other seat in Krishna District.
There are rumours that Balayya himself may vacate TDP bastion Hindupur for his Son-in-law. In such case, Balayya may be shifted to Penamaluru in Krishna District. We are told that Chandrababu has a list of 10 seats from where Lokesh can win comfortably.

The decision on that will be taken only after the election notification. Lokesh despite his struggling oratory skills proved to be an astute administrator like his father in his short tenure as the minister. 2019 Election will pose a new challenge to him.
