Narendra Modi and Chandrababu Naidu Finally Breaks the IceFormer Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu sought the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi last evening. The Prime Minister called Chandrababu this morning around 8.30 AM and sought Chandrababu’s opinion on the measures taken by the Government of India to control the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Chandrababu who is known to be one of the best Crisis Managers in the country reportedly shared some inputs with the Prime Minister about various Corona control measures and also the steps that needed to support the vulnerable section of the society and the economy in this crisis.

This is the first interaction between both the leaders after a hostile election campaign. Chandrababu extended complete support to Modi’s Lockdown extension till May 3rd. The Prime Minister also added that some states may be given relaxations with some conditions if they will not let hotspots increase.

On the other side, the number of Coronavirus cases crossed the 10,000 mark in the country. In Andhra Pradesh, there are 473 cases in the state. Guntur (109) and Kurnool (91) have become the epicenter of the Coronavirus with the highest number of cases in the state.
