Irrigation Minister Harish Rao made a crucial announcement on the behalf of the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. He rubbished all the speculations in the media about the changes to the KCR cabinet. There were several media speculations over Talasani, Pocharam and Nayani being shown door from the cabinet.

This decision will mean that aspirants who pinned high hopes on this expansion will have to wait longer for their turn. However Harish confirmed that the government will start filling up the vacant nominated posts after the current Assembly session.
Harish also revealed that KCR will be going on districts tour after the current session. TRS is going to contest Narayankhed by-election and Harish will be overseeing the preparations there. Narayankhed willl be going to by-election after the sudden demise of the sitting Congress MLA. While Congress is pressing for unanimous election, TRS is insisting on a contest there.
