Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is one of the stoic supporters of the YS family. He was the giant killer for YCP in 2019 as he defeated Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri. In a sensational development, he quit YCP and resigned the MLA post a couple of weeks back.
After a brief layoff, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy addressed the media and he breathed fire against the YCP high command.
“YCP government didn’t allot a single rupee for my constituency in the last 4 years. How can I go back to my constituency people and ask for votes while the government didn’t spend a single rupee for welfare and development? I’m done with Jagan. I will never work with him and his party YSRC ever again in my life” Ramakrishna Reddy said.
About his political future, Ramakrishna Reddy said he will work with YS Sharmila henceforth and vowed to be by her side after she announces her next political move. This in turn confirms that Sharmila is indeed working on her political stint in Andhra Pradesh.
YS family loyalist Ramakrishna’s comment right before the election gives an indication of Jagan’s method of operation. This is the current mindset of many YCP MLAs now, opined a political observer.
