An enquiry has been launched into the issue of not giving salaries at Hyderabad’s Global Development Center (GDC) by a Singapore-based software company. The Company is facing enquiry in Singapore.
Napier Healthcare Solutions is headquartered in Singapore. However, a majority of its employees are working in Hyderabad’s GDC.
The company uses AI tools to give technology-based medical processing solutions to its clients. Recently, the Company stopped paying its employees. Twelve of them complained regarding the matter.
Following this, Singapore’s Human Resources Department along with Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management are looking into the issue.
Sources have said that the matter is being looked under the purview of Employment Act. Responding on the issue, Napier Healthcare representative said that salaries were not paid as the Company fell short of funds.
The representative shared that salaries to current employees and dues to past employees will be paid next week.
