After considering several plans of various cities across the World, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has finalized a ‘Swadeshi Model’ for the core capital of the state’s upcoming capital. It is said that Naidu has liked ‘Lutyens Model’ for it.
Lutyen’s Delhi area in New Delhi houses the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, Union ministers’ quarters and secretariat buildings at one place and the Andhra Pradesh government is planning to construct the core capital of AP between Uddhandarayunipalem (in Thullur mandal) and Venkatapalem in the new capital region, which spans 11 km between Vijayawada and Guntur.
There is a green stretch between Yamuna River and Delhi, Naidu too is planning to set up a long garden along the Krishna River. The garden he wants should excel the world-famous Brindavan Gardens of Mysore. This green stretch will begin at the Prakasam Barrage and spread along the banks of the River Krishna.
