YSR Congress has been looking down the barrel ever since the Polling Day (May 13th). Nothing has been going Jagan Mohan Reddy’s way since then.
On the Polling day, the party got shamed after a commoner slapped back Tenali MLA Annabattuni Sivakumar after the latter tried to hit the commoner for questioning him about skipping the queue.
The video went viral while the polling was underway and shamed YSR Congress across the nation.
On the same day, the YSR Congress was taken back after the TDP cadre strongly retaliated in the so-called stronghold constituencies of Palnadu. YSR Congress is asking for repolling in these areas indirectly admitting that things may not have happened their way.
We have seen a sense of worry in the words of YSR Congress leaders as they are lamenting over the Election Commission and the Police cooperating with the Telugu Desam Party. Usually, such meek statements are bad indication in Political language.
Even YSR Congress favoring Exit Polls like AARAA said 70% of the Postal Ballots went the TDP way. YSR Congress is trying its level best to get as many invalid votes as possible. They are fighting a legal battle on this issue indicating that they have given up on Postal Ballot Votes.
Later, Macherla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy’s video of breaking the video got leaked and shamed the YSR Congress so much. They were caught in defense completely with that. Pinnelli, somehow, evaded arrest and got immunity from the High Court from getting arrested.
But the Supreme Court today gave a ruling that Pinnelli should not go to the Counting Centers. This is like a final nail in the coffin in Macherla. YSR Congress believed Pinnelli should be in the counting centers if they were to win the seat. Even that is gone now.
And then, majority of the Exit Polls have gone against YSR Congress. Only AARAA is a small relief. Going by the history, it is very unlikely for a party to win with majority surveys going against them.
Looks like everything has been going against Jagan since Polling Day!
