The discussion about Jr NTR turning active in TDP has been in discussion for many years now and it is not going to dissipate in the near future either. Cut to now, this topic was brought up in front of TDP leader Nimmala Ramanaidu and here is what he said.
When asked about Buddha Venkanna’s recent comment that NTR is not a part of TDP and whether this is a move to highlight NTR over Lokesh, the veteran had a firm response.
“NTR garu hasn’t expressed his interest in politics. He is focused on his films. We can’t discuss imaginary topics like whether or not he is a part of TDP plans. All we can say is that TDP faced its toughest times between 2019 to 2024 under Jagan. Our party didn’t face such situations even when YSR was the CM, but Jagan troubled us. So, whoever was with the party in these tough times is what that matters.” Nimmala said.
Nimmala implied that it was Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh who took all the struggle in the party during the toughest times, which speaks volumes about their priority.
There has been a long-standing commentary that NTR hasn’t been condemning the brutal attacks on TDP, including the verbal attacks on Bhuvaneshwari and CBN’s arrest. Nimmala’s latest comments carry a similar tone.
