BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family has been landing in legal troubles for the last few months. His daughter Kavitha was arrested and sent to Tihar Jail for her alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.

On the other side, KCR’s nephew Kanna Rao was recently arrested in an illegal land-grabbing case near Adibatla. Meanwhile, another case has been filed against him.

An IT employee named Vijayavardhan Rao filed a case against Kanna Rao and a few others at the Banjara Hills Police Station, for allegedly threatening him.

According to the police, Vijayavardhan Rao met Kanna Rao once in a settlement issue along with his friend Nandini. Following the meeting, Nandini informed Kanna Rao about Vijayavardhan’s affluent status, possessing substantial wealth and jewellery.

Eventually, with the help of Nandini and a few others, Kanna Rao subjected Vijayavardhan to house arrest in a guesthouse. By threatening Vijayavardhan, Kanna Rao extracted Rs. 60 lakh cash and Rs. 97 tulas of gold.

The complainant alleged that Kanna Rao intimidated him by invoking his connections with Police Officer Bhujanga Rao and ACP Katta Sambayya.

The Banjara Hills police have registered the case and will soon interrogate Kanna Rao regarding the same issue.
