Recently, controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma landed in legal trouble as a case was registered against him in Maddipadu Police Station. In a gap of just a few days, another case has been registered against him at Ravikamatham Police Station in Anakapalle district.
The case has been registered against Varma for the derogatory comments he made against Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh during the promotions of his movie, Vyooham. The case was registered in the Maddipadu Police Station citing the same reason.
Ravikamatham police issued notices to Varma to attend the questioning. Reportedly, he requested a week to attend the interrogation as he was busy with the shooting. We hear that the police are now investigating whether Varma is really busy with the shooting works.
Recently, Ongole Police also issued notices to RGV to attend the questioning. However, he decided to skip it. Yesterday, fresh notices were sent to him through WhatsApp, asking him to attend the questioning on November 25.
RGV also tried approaching the High Court to get saved from the case but the High Court clarified that it cannot interfere in the issue and advised RGV to request for an anticipatory bail if he fears arrest.
Now, as two cases are filed against him, RGV has little chance of escaping the questioning. We have to wait for a few more days to see what will be his next move.
