Priyadarshini Ram is one of the founding Editors of Sakshi TV. Ram played an instrumental role in shaping up Sakshi as a YSR Propaganda tool.
He helped Congress initially and later Jagan after YSR‘s demise until he quit the channel around 2014. Ram retired from the Channel and is now trying to make a career in the film industry.
Ram was speaking about his last days at Sakshi in an interview. He was upset for a very low Full and Final Settlement on his retirement. Apparently, there was an one year break in his 9-10 years service at Sakshi and the management denied him gratuity quoting the rules.
The amount of propaganda Sakshi unleashed under Ram and the amount of venom he spewed on the Opposition are simply invaluable for the company as well as for YSR and Jagan.
Ethically, we expect the company to go extra mile to help him in retirement but then, it is not the case now.
For normal people like us, it is like we are hurt when we are hurt. But for a Reddy, it is not that way.
The clip where Ram narrates the disappointmeny is an indication. He says he is disappointed but immediately says Bharathi is like mother who treats all her children the same.
He says he went to Bharathi’s house not Jagan’s because Jagan would call him in immediately.
Which mother will deny the extra help to her most hardworking child? Which mother will act like she did not know the issue when you send the pic of a cheque with such low Full and Final Settlement?
Not going to Jagan because he will call in immediately is another joke. You are retired and unhappy with the F&F but you do not want to take a channel where you will get immediate solution.
Ram is clearly offended but the Reddy pride imbibed deep in his veins would not let him insult his caste idols. Preserving their sanctity even at the cost of personal loss is the Reddy rule.
This is the rarest quality and not found in any other community across the country.
