Pawan urged officials to advance Solid and Liquid Resource Management, emphasizing the importance of water conservation and preventing water pollution.

He stressed the environmental damage caused by plastic waste and pointed out that even animals are dying from consuming it. Pawan also spoke about the need for Panchayats to generate income by recycling daily waste in villages.

He also urged people to take waste management and cleanliness as their responsibility. Pawan stated that efficient garbage management could make every panchayat self-sufficient financially.

A PR official reported that there are 13,301 gram panchayats in Andhra Pradesh, and the value of garbage dumped in these villages is about Rs. 220 crore per month.

It was further stated that efficient waste management could generate Rs. 2643 crore annually from villages alone.

Additionally, direct job opportunities could be created for 2,44,794 women from Self Help Groups, with a monthly salary of Rs. 9000.

It was mentioned without knowing these facts, people are dumping valuable waste materials and garbage everywhere across the state.

Pawan Kalyan announced that SLRM would start from Pithapuram. He said that it is a long and time-consuming process, but if done efficiently, it could greatly benefit all gram panchayats across the state.
