Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy always believed that Chandrababu Naidu steered home to safety in 2014 elections due to Pawan Kalyan’s Support. Things have changed once again in the last few days. Pawan Kalyan suddenly started aiming the gun at Jagan Mohan Reddy and increased the criticism on the Opposition Party skipping the Assembly Sessions. YSR Congress Party is also giving back in their own style to the Janasenani.
However, TDP is not ready to buy the argument that both the parties are not on good terms. “Both the parties are acting at the behest of BJP. They are criticizing each other just because they do not want to eat into each other’s vote. Also to consolidate the vote of their communities,” A Senior Party Leader analyses this situation.
TDP also claims that it has information that both the parties tried to indulge in alliance talks but then Jagan is not completely sure of Pawan Kalyan’s Strength and cannot risk leaving many seats to Janasena which may become a cakewalk for TDP if the experiment fails. At the same time, Pawan Kalyan is not ready to give unilateral support to the party for just a handful of seats.
