Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in an exclusive interview confirmed that YSR Congress will be fighting alone in the coming elections. He also reacted to his former MP Vara Prasad’s comment about a possible alliance between YSR Congress and Janasena.

“I did not get any proposal as such. I am confident that we will win without any party’s support. We will support whichever party gives Special Status to Andhra Pradesh at the Center after the elections,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said.
Jagan also went on to say he is not worried about Janasena eating into anti-government vote in the next elections. “BJP and Janasena voters voted TDP in the last elections and they just got 1.5% more than us. If they contest independently, it will be TDP’s loss obviously,” the Opposition Leader added.
