Pawan Kalyan World Record

Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, won the general elections this year in Andhra Pradesh, in alliance with Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party.

After the victory, Pawan Kalyan assumed charge as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Along with that, he also handles the ministries of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development & Rural Water Supply; Environment, Forests, Science & Technology.

Now, under Pawan Kalyan’s leadership, the Panchayat Raj Department achieved a world record. Getting into details, a record number of 13,326 Gram Sabhas (village assemblies) were held in Andhra Pradesh on August 23. This is the highest number of Gram Sabhas held in a single day.

The World Records Union recognized the achievement and its representatives handed over the certificate and medal to Pawan Kalyan earlier today in Hyderabad. This record was made within 100 days of Pawan Kalyan taking charge as the Minister of Panchayat Raj.

Pawan Kalyan’s official government handle shared the news on social media where he expressed his happiness over the Government of Andhra Pradesh receiving this recognition from the World Records Union.
