Pawan kalyan Kathipudi Meeting SpeechAfter coming to Power promising a Better Capital, Jagan Mohan Reddy completely dumped the farmers who gave their lands for the capital.

These days, one of the principal motives of Jagan is to denounce Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. We have seen farmers fighting for their rights subject to Police brutality and also cuss words by the YSRCP leaders.

YCP has been giving a coloring and implication that Amaravati is designed to help only one caste and community (Kamma) to create an aversion in people of other communities.

The motive of killing Amaravati, vilifying Kamma caste, and painting caste color to TDP – this campaign ticks all boxes.

This narrative is extensively carried by YCP’s blue media and I-PAC’s malicious campaign to hurt the state, leaving it without a capital. The three capitals brought to kill Amaravati made Andhra Pradesh a joke across the country.

Incidentally, Pawan Kalyan came down heavily on Jagan and his men and media giving Kamma community coloring to Amaravati.

“Why didn’t you say that Amaravati is Kamma capital while you(Jagan) were in the opposition. You were fully in acceptance of it then. You even said an additional 5000 acres should be given to Amaravati. But now, you say it is only for one community. This is nothing but your incapability pushing AP backwards” Pawan said.

He questioned Jagan why he agreed for Amaravati and why he demanded to pool an extra 5K acres of land for Amaravati when he was in opposition. Pawan said Amaravati would be a growth engine like Madhapur is for Telangana.

Pawan Kalyan is in the right direction as far as the idea of Amaravati is concerned. Amaravati model is akin to HITEC City in Hyderabad. Once Amaravati becomes a Growth engine like HITEC City, the entire state will enjoy the fruits of the income it generates and the jobs it creates. The revenue thus raised by the Growth engine will also fund the welfare of the poor and the needy.
