Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan spoke on X about the adulteration of ghee in Tirumala laddoo. He shared his concern and anger over the incident, which he said took place during the YSRCP term. His post drew strong reactions from devotees who follow the issue closely.
He wrote that Tirumala is not just a temple. He said it is the basis of your faith and devotion. He pointed out that an estimated 10.97 crore people visited Tirumala between 2019 and 2024, showing how deeply connected devotees feel to the temple.
Pawan Kalyan wrote that nearly 60,000 people visit Lord Venkateswara every day. From a common man to the President of India, Prime Minister, CJI, Constitutional authorities, business leaders, sportspersons, artists and writers, everyone visits Tirumala. He said the past government and past TTD Board hurt the trust of devotees.
He concluded that YSRCP leaders violated your belief system. He said devotees gave them one chance and paid the price. They saw opportunity and betrayed your faith. They did not just break rules. They broke your trust and shattered the sacred bond you placed in them.
Our Tirumala is not just a temple; it is the heart of our devotion, where we go with our deepest prayers. During the previous government’s tenure (2019–24), an estimated 10.97 crore people – your family, your neighbours, all of us – visited. Think of it -…
