Pawan Kalyan’s Good News To Kakinada SEZ Farmers

Pawan Kalyan Kakinada SEZ land return

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has delivered on his promise to farmers in the Kakinada SEZ region. During the last assembly elections, he assured that their long-pending land issues would be resolved, and now, that commitment has become reality.

The Chandrababu government has approved the return and registration of 2,180 acres of land to farmers in the Kakinada SEZ. The land will be registered after deducting registration and stamp duties, ensuring a transparent process under official supervision.

This long-pending issue has finally reached closure. The decision benefits 1,551 farmers across Tondangi, Uppada, and Kottapalli in the Kakinada area. Pawan Kalyan discussed the matter with CM Chandrababu Naidu, who immediately supported the proposal and approved the move.

Farmers had previously complained about inadequate compensation, the lack of port and industrial development, and poor job creation during the YSRCP government’s tenure. They also alleged that their land was being diverted for real estate activities instead of public projects.

Before the elections, both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan had promised to probe the alleged land robbery scam and return unused lands to rightful owners. This decision now fulfils that assurance and marks a major win for the farmers of Kakinada SEZ.
