Pemmasani is an NRI. He went to America as a General Practitioner from Burripalem in the Guntur district and gained international recognition in no time.

He played a major role in YSR Congress drawing a blank in the Guntur district.

Due to his clean image, entrepreneurial background, and the popularity he got in the state, Naidu recommended his name as the MoS in Modi’s team. Reports suggest that he will be the crucial Health Portfolio.
A first-timer getting into Modi’s team is a big surprise. Naidu should also be credited for rewarding him.
Chandrababu believes that his international experience would help in bringing industries to the state and creating employment opportunities for the youth here.
