Machilipatnam MLA Perni Venkatramaiah, also known as Perni Nani, has once again made headlines with his controversial behavior. Perni Nani recently criticized Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and took it a step further by displaying his sandals during a press conference.
He claimed that Pawan’s actions were not a “Varahi Yatra” but a “Narahi Yatra.” Additionally, he accused TDP President Chandrababu of controlling Pawan’s party for the past decade.
Perni Nani demanded proof from the Andhra Pradesh government regarding the alleged blocking of Pawan Kalyan’s films. He questioned why certain films fail if they are not well-made. Notably, Pawan Kalyan has only appeared in two movies since 2019.
Nani expressed concern that Pawan is being manipulated by Chandrababu in politics. Many find it surprising that Perni Nani consistently criticizes Pawan in this manner, suspecting that he is merely following orders from the Tadepalli palace. It is worth noting that both Pawan and Perni belong to the same community.
This time, Perni Nani has shown no interest in running for office himself, but instead, he hopes Jagan will grant an MLA ticket to his son. However, given that the Machilipatnam Constituency has a significant number of Kapu voters, Perni Nani’s controversial behavior may cost him their support.
