Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will perform bhumi puja or ground breaking ceremony for a 100-bed hospital in his constituency Pithapuram on April 25.
Pithapuram Collector shared that Pawan Kalyan will interact with the locals at Racha Banda during his one-day tour. The Deputy CM will also give away farm implements to farmers.
Before he was voted to power, Pawan Kalyan promised that he would develop Pithapuram. Following his big win, he assured to keep his promise for all the love that was shown to him.
Pawan Kalyan has already addressed the water problem issue in Pithapuram and directed the officials to upgrade water tanks to help store water during summer months. He also asked them to keep a check on spending, to ensure funds are not misused.
The Deputy CM also asked for intelligence reports to keep track of the law and order situation. He instructed that action must be taken against corrupt officials and staff.
It is known that Pawan Kalyan had started PADA, Pithapuram Area Development Authority, to ensure overall development of his constituency.
As for the hospital, the state government announced Rs 38.32 crore for providing the equipment and staff for it.
