The mistake was promptly reported to higher authorities, including the Collector and Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena, prompting swift action.

TDP leaders, alongside Meena, filed a formal complaint, advocating for redressal and stressing the importance of ensuring the affected employees’ voting rights and holding responsible officials accountable.

The Collector has taken action on the postal ballot mistake in Ganapavaram of Nadendla mandal in Palnadu district, removing Nadendla’s Assistant Returning Officer Varakumar from election duties and issuing a show cause notice to Naradamuni.

Affected employees are advised to vote again on May 8th and 9th to rectify the error and ensure their votes are properly counted.
