Nearly, 4.44 Lakh Voters exercised their voting right. This will add another 1.2% voting percentage to the tally.

AARA Mastan, Speaking on TV9 went on to say that 70-75% of these Postal Ballots went to the alliance.

YSR Congress is trying to put up a brave face saying that it is only a small percentage of the total voters.

But, it is not as simple as it appears.

The employees in election duty who cast their votes are 1.2% and that is agreed it is a small percentage.

But in the house of every employee, there are at least three votes on average. That means we are talking about 13.32 Lakh voters which means 3.3% of the total voters which is a significant number.

There are people who can say not all the members of a family will vote in a similar pattern.

The case of Government employees is different. Their entire families suffered due to delays in salaries, non-payments of DAs and TAs, diversion of PF funds, etc. Their financial situation had gone for a toss and the entire family would suffer when the earning person suffered.

So, the entire family is likely to vote in a similar pattern. A 3.3% Vote is very big in a fiercely contested election.

YSR Congress is hoping that Secretariat employees appointed by Jagan will vote for them in Postal Ballots. But even their votes are doubtful because the majority are not satisfied with their meager salaries. Most of them prepared for Government jobs but were denied after Jagan’s Job Calendar promise did not happen.

On the other hand, Chandrababu promised his first signature on Mega DSC which is very big for the Secretariat Employees.
